Assessor
The 2012 Tentative Assessment Roll will be available for inspection at the West Monroe Town Hall located at 46 Co Rt 11 on May 1, 2012. Grievance forms and instructions are available at the Assessor’s office and at www.tax.ny.gov/pdf/publications/orpts/grievancebooklet.pdf. The Assessor will be in attendance with the Tentative Roll; May 2, 5-9pm, May 9, 5-9pm, May 16 5-9pm and May 19, 9am-1pm. Grievance day is May 24; assessment complaints must be filed on or before May 24, 2-4pm and 7-9pm. All documentation becomes the property of the BAR and will not be returned to the applicant.

Town Board
The next regular meeting of the West Monroe town board will be Wednesday, May 9 at 7:00 p.m. at the West Monroe Town Hall, 46 County Route 11, West Monroe, New York. The town board will meet prior to every regular town board meeting beginning at 6:30 p.m. to audit the monthly financial records of town officials and to review and sign vouchers submitted for payment.

The Annual Financial Report for 2011 has been filed in the town clerk's office and is available for inspection during the town clerks’ regular office hours.
Town Clerk
Effective Memorial Day through Labor Day, the West Monroe Town Clerk's Office Summer Hours will be Monday – Thursday 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and closed Friday.
Planning Board
The next regular meeting of the West Monroe Planning Board is scheduled for Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at 7:30 p.m. at the West Monroe Town Hall, 46 County Route 11, West Monroe, New York. The planning board will hold an additional special meeting on Thursday, May 10, 2012 at 7:30 p.m., also at the town hall.
Committees
The West Monroe Parks Committee will meet on Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. at the town hall.
Zoning Board of Appeals
The Zoning Board of Appeals meets the third Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m. at the West Monroe Historical Society, 2355 State Route 49, West Monroe, New York.
